Conditions of purchased lots.
Please remember that by making a bid you are entering into a contract to buy that lot. Ownership of a lot is transferred to the successful bidder upon their bid’s acceptance, and all bidders are fully responsible for the purchase price, buyer’s commission and any taxes due on their purchase. It is important that all bidders do their due diligence on a lot to ensure a positive buying experience. Waterford's is proud to accept returns of any purchased items, for any reason up to thirty days following the auction sale date. However, once thirty days have passed, no returns for any reason will be accepted. If a buyer does return an item within the thirty days, a credit for the hammer price plus buyer's premium only will be applied to the buyer's account, which can be used for future auction sales. Consult our catalogues, speak to a specialist, request a condition report and see lots in our open previews before the auction. If you are planning to export your purchases, familiarize yourself with CITES and all other relevant regulations. And please be sure to read Waterford’s Terms & Conditions before bidding.
Buyers are responsible for the collection, packing and shipping of all purchased lots. Waterford's no longer offers inhouse shipping. We can make recommendations for local shipping who can provide this service.
