A Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Jambhala
19th century. The bodhisattva of wealth finely cast seated on a lotus pedestal, adorned with jewels, holding a peach in his right hand and a mongoose in his left, his face with bulging eyes, prominent eyebrows and beard, wearing a curved diadem, his hair neatly piled into an usnisha, on a copper base with crossed vajras. Approx. 6 by 4 in., 15.5 by 10 cm.
