18th century, Qing dynasty. Ink and color on silk, un-mounted hanging scroll with silk border. Three Qing dynasty women stand sumptuously dressed beneath a tree, their make-up carefully done, and hair adorned with jewels and flowers, one is holding a fan, another carries a stick over her shoulder from which peaches are suspended. Approx. 32 by 19 3/4 in., 81.3 by 50.2 cm.
