The white jade carving of a recumbent qilin carved in low relief, breathing fire in the form of ruyi heads, the fire of a contrasting russet color, the base carved to look like clouds that the qilin in floating on. Approx. 2 1/4 by 2 3/4 in., 5.6 by 6.9 cm.
