A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Moon Flask
17th/18th century, early Qing dynasty. The flattened round body on a tall, pierced, oval foot ring with tall neck and garlic-bulb mouth, with two opposing strap ruyi-form handles to the neck and shoulder, two additional strap lugs on both sides. The body painted in underglaze blue to depict a phoenix among lingzhi shaped clouds with in a border. The sides decorated with three bats among clouds. Approx. 12 � by 10 in., 31.2 by 25.5 cm.
