18th century, Qing dynasty. Ink and color on silk, un-mounted hanging scroll with silk border. Beautiful Qing dynasty women stand sumptuously dressed beneath a tree, their make-up carefully done, and hair adorned with jewels and flowers. One is holding a fan, another carries a stick over her shoulder from which peaches are suspended. Mounted in a silk brocade border. Approx. 32 by 19 3/4 in., 81.3 by 50.2 cm.
