A Chinese Silver Enameled Vase

19th/20th century, Qing dynasty. Made by the Baocheng silver shop in Shanghai, the baluster vase with two prunus branch handles colored with enamels. Around the vase, four panels decorated with enamels to depict birds and flowers. Inscription on back of neck states that it was given to Peizhi by her brother, Lu Shenwan, for her wedding. Stamped six-character Shanghai Baocheng mark to base. Approx. 7 1/8 by 3 1/2 in., 18.2 by 9 cm.
