A Chinese Embroidered Silk Panel with Walnuts
The blue silk ground with embroidered floral sprigs, Buddha's hands and bats surrounding the central floral motif, with an alternating ruyi head and bat quadrilobe border surrounding two walnuts from which flowering prunus, clouds and auspicious symbols emerge, with a red silk cloud backing. Approx. 43 1/2 by 57 5/8 in., 109.8 by 146.3 cm.
