A Pair of Hand Painted African Figures
20th century. The male and female pair are painted with shades of red, yellow and green, adorned in red and white beaded jewelry, with large eyes, elongated earlobes and wearing headdresses and long garments, the male holding a shield, the female holding a gourd. The male approx. 25 1/2 by 5 3/8 in., 64.6 by 13.5 cm.
