A Chinese Spinach Jade Carving of Two Birds
The carving shows two birds perched on thick branches, their bodies carved in low relief and mouths slightly open, the branches with thin leaves blooming, the jade resting on a custom wood base acting as an extension of the branches or tree roots. The jade approx. 9 5/8 by 4 1/4 in., 24.5 by 11 cm.
