A Pair of Chinese Porcelain Bowls, Qing Dynasty
The bowls hand painted with dragons, flames and waves to the interior, with two blue bands to the rim, the exterior also with two blue bands to the rim, with qilin, dragons and other mythical creatures with waves and flames, on a small foot ring, with six character Jiajing marks in underglaze blue within two concentric circles to each base. Provenance: from the Morris Collection. Each approx. 2 by 5 1/8 in. diam., 5.1 by 13 cm. diam.
