19th century. The pair of plates with central images depicting battle scenes, the rim divided into four large panels and four small panels, the large panels depicting figures in landscapes, the small panels depicting a bird on a branch, on circular foot rings. Approx. 1 1/8 by 9 3/4 in. diam., 3 by 25 cm. diam.
