A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Compote
20th century. The porcelain dish with foliate rim on a tall foot ring, decorated in underglaze blue with four "wang" or "king" characters equidistantly spaced against a cross-hatched background, surrounding a border of peaches, the exterior decorated with painted lotus petals. Approx. 2 1/2 by 6 in., 6.5 by 15 cm.
