A Celadon Jade Lidded Censor

The lidded censer on a tall flaring foot incised with banana leaf lappets and three equidistant scroll flanges, the round shallow body topped with a shallow domed lid, both carved in relief to depict floral scrolls and chrysanthemum petal borders, three more scroll flanges on the body and three "C" shaped loops on cover, also equidistantly spaced. The cover surmounted with a tall rotating chrysanthemum finial with three "C" loops suspending loose rings. The semi-translucent celadon jade stone with white and spinach inclusions. Approx. 4 1/8 by 3 1/8 in., 10.5 by 8 cm.
