A Ming Dynasty Longquan Celadon Dish
Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The flaring fluted sides rising to an everted barbed rim, supported on a short footring. The center incised with a lozenge diaper and the cavetto with a band of lotus scroll, covered in a soft olive green semi-translucent celadon glaze that pools in the recesses to highlight the design and thinning at the edges. Approx. 1 � by 9 in. diam., 3.8 by 22.9 cm. diam.
