A Chinese Ding Ware Porcelain Bottle Vase
Song dynasty (960-1279). The ovoid bottle-vase rising from a short spreading foot to a short tapering neck and everted rolled rim, with carved petal lappets rising from the base, covered overall in an off-white glaze falling in an even line around the foot, unglazed base. Provenance: From the Estate of Patrick H. Booth, Jr. Approx. 6 5/8 by 4 3/4 in., 17 by 12 cm.
