A Chinese Ceramic Ritual Ding Food Vessel & Cover
Han dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). A plain spherical vessel supported on three high cabriole legs, with a pair of applied handles beneath the high domed cover with top ring, the exterior covered with red slip. Provenance: From the collection of a prominent American military official stationed in Singapore in the mid-20th century.
