Song dynasty (960-1279). The gently curved dish with flaring sides, incised to the center with a freely drawn lotus flower spray with curling stems and leaves, smooth exterior with articulation, covered overall with a creamy white glaze pooling in the recesses, with dark metal wrapped rim left unglazed for firing.
