A Squared "Eight Trigrams" Bronze Mirror, Tang Dyansty
Tang Dynasty (618-907). The silvered bronze mirror of square form with canted corners, the main field cast with a circular border of leafy tendrils around the bagua or eight trigrams and eight bosses encircling the central pierced knob. Provenance: From the collection of a prominent American military official stationed in Singapore in the mid-20th century.
