Toshusai Sharaku, Ichikawa Komazo II Reprint

Ink, color, and powdered mica woodblock print on oban sized paper. This reprint is of one of Sharaku's most famous "big head" actor prints from 1794 depicting Ichikawa Komazo II as Shiga Daishichi, dressed in sinister black kimono, with artist's signature "Toshusai Sharaku ga" and Tsutaya Juzaburo publisher's seal. Approx. 9 3/4 by 14 3/4 in., 25 by 37.5 cm.
