Mid 20th-Century Chinese Export Covered Jar, the cylindrical jar decorated with a bird on flowering prunus branches on a purple ground, mounted with a pair of raised and pierced flange handles at each side, one flange accompanied by a calligraphic seal and carved inscription, the domed top similarly decorated and mounted with an animal finial, the base with four character mark, with wear to surface and foot, appx. 9 3/4 in. H, 7 1/2 in. DIA.
