A Chinese Carved Lacquer Box, the top with two doors each carved and painted to the top with a woman below a leafy tree, with inscriptions to the interior, the sides of the box carved and painted with scenes of Chinese life, the double sided wood interior left unstained on one side, with wear to surface, damage to sides of top and bottom edge, appx. 12 1/2 in. W, 9 5/8 in. D, 4 3/8 in. H.
