A Pair of Chinese Export Carved Wood Frames
The oval opening surrounded by delicate floral meander and blooms between tripartite columns supported and topped with single lotus buds. All are surrounded by a pair of bats, small birds and floral sprays surmounted with a quatrefoil panel containing two scholars on a rocky outcropping and topped with a ruyi shaped arch. Approx. 14 1/8 by 8 3/8 in., 36 by 21.3 cm.
