A Chinese Gilt Porcelain Fang Ding

Early 20th century, Republic period. The rectangular body with rim articulation and columnar corners raised on waisted and lobed feet, with opposing spouting water fu dog handles suspending rings. The vessel covered entirely in gold enamel interspersed with famille rose enamel lotus meander and with two blue enamel key fret borders. Base with gilt six character honorific Qianlong mark. Approx. 3 1/2 by 5 in., 9 by 12.7 cm.
