A Pair of Very Large Chinese Porcelain Vases

19th century, very large baluster vases with tall flaring necks with lotus lobed lips, pairs of fu dogs for handles and pairs of dragons applied in high relief on opposing sides, decorated in famille rose overglaze enamels depicting scenes from the 'Tale of the Three Kingdoms' in framed window reserves, the background reminiscent of millefleur with the flowers of the four seasons, peaches, etc., stylized petal border around foot. Approx. 5 ft. 3 in. by 20 in., 1.6 m. by 50.8 cm.
