A Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Vase

19th century. A large baluster vase with tall flaring neck and lotus lobed rim, pairs of green fu dogs for handles and pairs of green dragons applied in high relief on opposing sides. Decorated in famille rose overglaze enamels depicting scenes of figures in a landscape and figures in a pavilion in framed window reserves. The background reminiscent of millefleur with the flowers of the four seasons and birds. Stylized petal border around foot, base glazed green. Rim interior glazed green with three iron red bats. Approx. 23 1/2 by 8 in., 60 by 20.5 cm.
