A Pair of Chinese Porcelain Biscuit Vases
19th century, Qing dynasty. The small, squared vases with squat bodies and tall necks, carved in relief and decorated in famille rose and verte enamels on the biscuit, with a banana leaf pattern around the neck, the shoulder with a lingzhi cloud border, and the body with four panels of Chinese landscape scenes, on a raised foot, with honorific four character carved Qianlong reign mark to the bases. Approx. 5 1/4 by 3 � in., 13.3 by 9.6 cm.
