After 1976. Ink and color on paper. A vibrant blue and green landscape with a white mountain peak rising above a small village. Gold poetic inscription to lower right "xia shan yu yu" or "summer mountain before rain," with his signature "ai weng," and three seals of the artist to upper left, upper right and lower right. Inscription on reverse repeats poetic title inscription and indicates it is number twenty seven. Provenance: From the collection of Li Shun Hua, student of Zhang Daqian. Approx. 15 1/2 by 23 3/8 in., 39.5 by 59.5 cm.
