Qi Gong (1912-2005), Calligraphy of a Poem by Guang Lu
20th/21st century. Ink on paper, mounted in a frame. Qi Gong was a descendent of the Qing imperial family, famous painter, calligrapher and educator. Here his calligraphy is of a poem by Guang Lu (1604-1650), a poet and collector of the Ming dynasty expressing one?s feelings of departure. Three seals of the artist. Approx. 19 by 26 1/2 in. 48.3 by 67.3 cm.
