A White Jade Ceremonial Cup with Pecking, Qing Dynasty

19th century, Qing dynasty. A white jade ceremonial cup with a wide, ribbed, ring handle across from a pouring spout on a tall oval foot ring. The body of the cup with a band of incised archaistic scrolling dragons against a cross-hatched background. The entire surface with sporadic russet stained pecking. The jade stone a soft semi-translucent white stone with opaque inclusions. On a carved wooden stand. The cup approx. 2 1/8 by 4 3/4 in., 5.5 by 12.2 cm.
