A Large Carved Crystal Duck with Lotus
19th century, Qing dynasty. The large natural rock crystal duck vividly carved with curved plume, wing, and tail feathers holding a lotus pod and leaf in its mouth, representing wishes for one to succeed in their official examinations, the clear stone with light inclusions. Approx. 6 by 7 1/4 in., 15.2 by 18.5 cm.
