A Chinese Light Green Jadeite Carved Boat
19th/20th century, late Qing dynasty. The light green semi-translucent stone carved to portray a boat filled with four men, two rowing, one steering, and one seated under a roof, sails and flags above. With original wooden stand carved to imitate waves. From a Montreal collection. Approx. 5 1/2 by 7 in., 14 by 18 cm.
