A Kangxi Period Porcelain Blue and White Bitong
18th century, Qing dynasty. The narrow cylindrical brush pot decorated in underglaze blue to depict a bird sitting on a flowering peony branch beside a rock, with peony flowers finely painted to depict the 'heaped and piled' effect, with artemesia leaf to base, on a custom wooden stand. Approx. 4 7/8 by 2 in. diam., 12.5 by 5 cm. diam.
