A Peking Glass Snuff Bottle with Polychrome Overly
Late 18th/early 19th century, Qing dynasty. A white milk glass vase-shaped snuff bottle with orange and light blue overlay, the body with two goldfish swimming amongst aquatic vegetation resting on a raised round foot ring, carved in high relief, with a green and brass stopper and spoon and a four character Qianlong mark to the base. From the Christian Collection, Middleborough, MA. Approx. 2 7/8 by 1 1/2 in., 7.4 by 4 cm.
