A Pair of Mirror Black Porcelain Baluster Vases
19th century, Qing dynasty. The pair of vases with a tall wide shoulder narrowing to a tall flaring neck and to a flaring foot, on a foot ring. The exterior covered in a mirror black glaze thinning to dark brown near rims. The interior and base glazed white. Bases unmarked. Approx. 17 1/4 by 7 in., 44 by 18 cm.
