A Chinese Porcelain Monochrome Peacock Blue Vase
Late 19th century, Qing dynasty. The bottle vase with a globular body rising up to a tall cylindrical neck, incised with lotus meander around the body, ruyi head scrolls around the shoulder, banana leaf lappets around the neck and petal lappets around the foot ring, covered in a translucent bright turquoise glaze with a very fine crackle. Unmarked base. Approx. 15 3/4 by 9 in., 40 by 23 cm.
