Huang Yi (1744-1802), Landscape Fan Leaf

18th century, Qing Dynasty. Ink on paper, fan leaf mounted on silk. Huang Yi, style name Xiaosong, was a calligrapher and seal carver during the Qing dynasty. This fan leaf depicts a landscape with figures alongside a stream and pine trees. According to the inscription on the right, it was painted during the summer, with two seals to right. Approx. 7 by 20 1/4 in., 17.8 by 51.5 cm.
