Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Ink on paper, un-mounted hand scroll. Painted during an autumn of the Ming dynasty in the style of Ni Zan (1301-1374), to portray trees and boats in a sparse landscape. From the collection of Ma Gongyu (1893-1969), a painter and calligrapher. Approx. 10 1/2 by 16 in., 26.8 by 40.8 cm.
