20th century. Ink and color on paper, hanging scroll. The poet Tao Yuanming is shown standing holding a chrysanthemum. To the right a poetic inscription echoes the painted scene, bears signature Zhang Daqian Yuan (1899-1983), with three seals of the artist. Approx. 14 1/4 by 26 in. 36.3 by 66 cm.
