A Chinese Pair of Large Aquatic Themed Cloisonne Jars
20th century, Republic period. A pair of large cloisonne jars with domed lids worked in copper wire and polychrome enamels to depict multi-colored carp swimming among aquatic plants against a light blue grownd sprinkeled with flowers. Cloud border around necks with lappets around fnial and foot ring. Approx. 17 1/2 by 11 in., 44.5 by 28 cm.
