A Chinese Mughal Light Celadon Jade Gem-set Box
The ovoid shaped lobed box with a the cover decorated with a gilt knot roundel surrounded by four pink and four green gemstones, two carved scrolls and two bats, all surrounded in a key-fret border. Base with four character ?san qia xuan zhi? mark to base. The stone a semi-translucent light green celadon, with small opaque inclusions. Approx. 1 1/2 by 3 7/8 in., 4 by 10 cm.
