An Impressive Chinese Porcelain Pilgrim Flask
18th century, Qing Dynasty. The large flask of consisting of a flattened ovoid body with articulated sides, on a tall rectangular foot ring with narrow neck and domed cover, decorated in underglaze blue to depict lotus flower meander on the body between ruyi head and lappet borders, the shoulders with applied animal-head and ring handles. Approx. 19 � by 13 in., 50.2 by 33 cm.
