A Chinese Porcelain Faux Jadeite Ruyi Scepter
Late 19th century, Guangxu period, Qing dynasty. The heavily cast porcelain scepter, finely detailed, molded with a dragon amid clouds on the lingzhi shaped head, the handle with a quatrefoil center molded with a fu dog, with a crane above and dragon below, the scepter glazed in green and white in emulation of jadeite. Approx. 19 by 5 � in., 48.3 by 13.3 cm.
