A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Plate
18th century, Kangxi period, Qing dynasty. The plate decorated with underglaze blue to depict a scroll border to the rim and diaper border surrounding reserves with flowers to the recess, the center with two deer beneath a willow tree grazing among lingzhi fungi of longevity, light brown rim, two branch sprays to the reverse, the plate resting on a foot ring, unmarked base. Approx. 1 by 8 7/8 in. diam., 2.5 by 22.5 cm. diam.
