A Chinese Porcelain Figure of a Seated Girl

Mid-20th century, Republic period or Early People's Republic. A porcelain beauty wearing a blue and white long tunic with cropped pants and braids in her hair is seated among rocks along the sea shore, using a red sash to play with a crab climbing out of the waves. Two stamped fantizi traditional character marks to base, the first a circular mark with "Xu jian Jianzhi" the second mark of the Jingdezhen Sculpture Porcelain Factory "Jingdezhen diaosu ci chang." Approx. 11 1/2 by 12 in., 29.3 by 30.6 cm
