c.1800, Qing dynasty. Gouache on paper mounted in a frame. Part of a larger set, each portraying one step in the production of silk, this one portraying the spinning of the silk in workshops. Approx. 14 1/2 by 18 5/8 in., 37 by 47.5 cm.
