1770-1800, Qing dynasty. Ink and color on behind glass mirror in a wooden frame. Depicting a western, possibly American woman, in an interior wearing a dress and fixing her hair with the help of a maid. Painted in soft blues, grays, and peach tones. Approx. 13 1/4 by 18 1/2 in., 33.6 by 47 cm.
