H. Cheang (1910-?), Girl Carrying an Infant

20th century. Oil on canvas, framed. H. Cheang was a native of Guangzhou, where he taught until 1950, before residing in Kowloon. Here he depicts a young child rubbing her eye and carrying a sleeping infant wrapped in a green blanket on her back. Signed H. Cheang to lower right. Approx.17 1/2 by 23 1/2 in., 44.5 by 60 cm.
