A Chinese Gold Embroidery of Dragon
Late 19th/early 20th century, Qing dynasty. A five-clawed two-horned dragon couched in gold thread grasping a satin stitched flaming pearl among flames and lingzhi-shaped clouds on dark blue silk, surrounded with a black silk brocade border and mounted in a frame. Approx. 14 1/4 by 13 in., 36.3 by 33 cm.
