A Chinese Bronze Tripod Censer
17th century, Ming dynasty. A graceful yet simple form with a short, wide body narrowing slightly at the neck, and curving gracefully into three pointed feet, two opposing loop handles. Attractive dark brown and black patina. With apocryphal six character Xuande mark to base. Approx. 3 1/4 by 9 in., 8.3 by 23 cm.
